Watch the waves break at Brennecke Beach or stay nearby at our Kauai vacation rentals. If you are an experienced boogie boarder, this standout among Kauai beaches will not disappoint. Surf can get big here in summer so use caution when going out for the first time. The surface is a combination of sand and rock which can be dangerous in high tide. A lifeguard next door at Kauai Oceanfront Condos Park can offer advice on current conditions. Whenever you visit, be sure to come back for the spectacular Kauai sunset view.

Caution: Although there is a lifeguard on duty at nearby Poipu Beach Park, this cove is not monitored so be careful. Larger surf can break and strong currents can carry swimmers and surfers onto the sharp coral and slippery rocks.
